Coastal Angelica (Strandkvanne) Woven Towel

A towel from Ekelund is always a good idea. Our range includes patterns and styles to suit all interior designs and rooms, whether you want to use them in the bathroom, kitchen, or as a placemat on the table.

Our textiles are easy to care for. After washing, simply shake out the towel and hang it to dry, allowing you to reuse it time and time again while maintaining its high quality.

All our textiles are made from 100% organic raw materials and sustainably produced at our mill in Horred, Sweden. They are GOTS-certified and also approved by the Swedish royal court – a recognition we are very proud of.

In 1878, we made our first delivery to the Royal Court, and to this day, we are proud to hold the title of Royal Court Supplier. This prestigious recognition confirms that our products meet the high expectations we set for ourselves.

Designer: Maria Olsson - "The inspiration for this design came to me during a kayak trip along the West Coast. The kayak glided slowly over shallow water along the shoreline, and there on land, not far from the salty water, grew the majestic Angelica. As often happens when I’m out in nature, I picked up my phone to capture the plants, views, and light. These images and inspirations later serve as references when I draw and paint." 

Care: Machine wash at 60°C (140 degrees Fahrenheit). Wash with similar colors. Tablecloths containing linen should NOT be tumble dried. Shake out the tablecloth thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the tablecloth while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. Tip! For even better results, shape the tablecloth after shaking it out before hanging it. All our products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.
