Small Oak Wood Elephant Figurine by Kay Bojesen

Kay Bojesen graduated as a silversmith in 1910. In the 1930s he explored his passion for wood, creating animals that matched his belief that a product should be "round, soft, and feel good in your hand".

He strived to make his designs a pleasure to hold and not just a joy to behold. This oak elephant with its curves, serves as an excellent example, and living proof that Mr. Bojesen could do just that.

Applying oil will change the color and glow of the wood. The color will become darker, with a deeper tone.
