Dagmar Cross Pendant with 18-inch Chain

Several hundred years before Denmark officially became a Christian country in 900 AD, missionaries often wore crosses to show their new faith. Many were placed in churches or buried with their owners. Of the few that survive today, one of the most elaborate and beautiful is known as the Dagmar Cross.

Artist Mary Staby's Danish heritage led her to create this distinctive design of the beloved Queen Dagmar Cross.
