1423A towel from Ekelund is always a good idea. Our range includes patterns and styles to suit all interior designs and rooms, whether you want to use them in the bathroom, kitchen, or as a placemat on the table.

Our textiles are easy to care for. After washing, simply shake out the towel and hang it to dry, allowing you to reuse it time and time again while maintaining its high quality.

All our textiles are made from 100% organic raw materials and sustainably produced at our mill in Horred, Sweden. They are GOTS-certified and also approved by the Swedish royal court – a recognition we are very proud of.

In 1878, we made our first delivery to the Royal Court, and to this day, we are proud to hold the title of Royal Court Supplier. This prestigious recognition confirms that our products meet the high expectations we set for ourselves.

Designer: Linda Forsberg - “With this pattern, I wanted to capture the sense of tranquility that an early morning walk by the sea brings – the fresh scent of saltwater and the wind in the beach ryegrass. But also the vibrant, pulsating life just below the surface, the constant motion of the water. When I sat down to draw, I started with simple sketches of crabs, seaweed, mussels, shells, and seagrass – all elements you encounter by the shore or under the surface.

I played with blue and red tones to create contrasts that highlight the sea’s shifting moods. I wanted to bring a sense of playfulness and excitement to the pattern with a few fun details. Hopefully, the pattern illustrates the movement and life happening just beneath the surface, something you can experience if you take the time to sit on a pier or rock by the sea and peer into the water. The name ‘Arielle’ is a nod to the name of the little mermaid, Ariel.” 

Care: Machine wash at 60°C (140 degrees Fahrenheit). Wash with similar colors and avoid using fabric softener. Towels should not be tumble dried. Shake the towel thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, lightly iron the towel while it is slightly damp, in the lengthwise direction. For even better results, shape the towel immediately after shaking it out. All our products are delivered with an allowance for shrinkage.
