"For more than 5 years, after reading academic papers every morning, thru hurricane, divorce, financial collapse, pandemic, and practically every obstacle a human being could endure, it was not easy staying on track, executing each painting, gathering amazing folk to model in period clothing for photoshoots for each theme, and just flatout trusting in myself and my work, to bring new light to the world about one of the most misunderstood and misrepresented cultures on the planet, my ancestors, The Norse.
This are gallery book showcases not the dark stories of the "Vikings" that were written about them centuries later after the Viking Age. This story I have chosen to bring is a day in the life story of folk who were originally farmers, hunters, fishermen, and skilled craftspeople who ultimately became merchants, that traveled much of the know world, eventually colonizing an area encompassing parts of North America, Iceland, Greenland, modern Scandinavia today, and much of central Europe all the way to Siberia, with colonies having been in Spain and north Africa as well.
