Songs Dad Played - Paperback Book

A collection of 53 songs for violin, recorder, and voice containing Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German, Spanish, American, and English songs. There are hymns, lieder, folk, and popular songs included, all taken from tape recordings originally made by M. B. Kolding in the 1970s.  

There are 14 Danish, 11 German, 3 Swedish, 2 Norwegian, 1 Spanish, and 8 American or English songs.

About the Author
Virginia (Ginny) Blood was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and grew up on a farm near Larimore, North Dakota. She was surrounded by music from an early age and has played and sung music all her life. She received a bachelor's degree in vocal music from Mayville State University, Mayville, North Dakota, and taught vocal music in the public school systems of Wisconsin and Minnesota for 11 years before switching careers to become a computer analyst. She currently directs Cherub Choir and performs with Easter Lutheran Church Recorder Ensemble in Eagan, Minnesota.
