Skål! Scandinavian Spirits Cellulose Cloth
Skål! Scandinavian Spirits Cellulose Cloth
This sponge-like cloth features a design from the Skål! Scandinavian Spirits exhibit. It softens when wet and is a lovely addition to any kitchen sink. Works great in the bathtub or shower too. Measures 6.75 x 8 inches.
About Cellulose Cloths
Cellulose dishcloths are durable: when they need a clean, throw them in the washer or dishwasher and let air dry. They are sanitary: they dry out quicker than sponges. They are green: printed with water-based environmentally friendly ink and made from 70% cellulose and 30% cotton making them 100% biodegradable.
About the Exhibit
Denmark, Norway and Sweden share a “spirited” tradition of enjoying beer and aquavit – sometimes together, sometimes separately. This exhibition explored the cultural history of these beverages, follows those drinking traditions to Scandinavian-American communities, and answers questions like “What IS aquavit, anyway?” and “How do you ‘skål’ correctly?” Fun, informative, and engaging, this exhibition traveled to Scandinavian museums across the United States between 2015 and 2018.
