Small Teak & Limba Wood Monkey Figurine by Kay Bojesen
Small Teak & Limba Wood Monkey Figurine by Kay Bojesen
Kay Bojesen's Monkey is crafted of teak and limba and treated with natural oil.
Plantation teak's colour structure is influenced by the minerals and soil conditions in the region, causing the wood to vary from dark to light, waxy yellow or grey-green; at times, it may be flecked with dark spots and stripes. Colour variations, therefore, don't signal poor quality. Over time, exposure to light and air will change any colour nuances in the teak to a more consistent, golden brown, warm tone. The monkey will, however still retain its own, entirely unique colour.
Every single member of the teak monkey family is absolutely unique.
Dimensions: 8 x 6 inches with arms down by sides.
